800-metre duo relay race
Matcha matches, green lights, Parton Tali behind the deck: it was Oatly After Hours - Rakpart Relay.
Half a year of hard work, excitement, 150 racers, 50 cheerleaders, and at least 500+ tourists and passersby cheering the runners on.
Friends, couples, family members, young and old ran together. The top 10 pairs made it to the semifinal, and after a fierce fight, the top 3 teams reached the final.
The discussion with Oatly started in April, 2026 - back n forth brainstorming, budget planning and management with multiple suppliers - just to have the evening which no one has done before.
First LatteRace
Our goal with the LatteRace team is to build culturally relevant, experience-driven races, community sports events, and concepts. This was just the first step.
The objective was simple yet difficult: give our close partner, Oatly, a level of visibility and an experience-packed event that hasn't been done in Hungary before. That's how the concept was born: bring the race and the Oatly After Hours, filled with a matcha-based experience, to a place that belongs to the locals again: the rakpart.
We managed to get a real chip timing system on site so every participant were able to get their exact part times live.
