Terms of Service – RLC Galaxy Challenge

The “RLC Galaxy Challenge” (hereinafter referred to as the “Challenge”) is built on fairness, transparency and long term community value.

Run honest. Compete smart. Represent the Galaxy.

Hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”.


Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt. is a promotional partner and not the organizer of the Challenge.

I. General Terms

  1. Participants must be members of the Running Latte Club Strava Club for at least 30 days prior to joining. Participation is free and voluntary.
  2. A maximum of 1000 members can participate/register in the Challenge.
  3. The Challenge runs monthly until December 31, 2026. Each competition period starts on the first day of the month at 00:00 CET and ends on the last day of the month at 23:59 CET.
  4. Participation is open to natural persons aged 18 years or older with a public Strava account.
  5. Participants may request exclusion from the Challenge at any time by notifying the Organizer via email at shop@runninglatteclub.com.
  6. Participants using any vulgar/harassing name as "Full Name" displayed on the leaderboard will immediately be terminated without prior notice and can no longer participate.
  7. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude ambassadors or affiliated partners with Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt. from prize eligibility.

II. Participation and Data

  1. Only outdoor runs (>1 km longer) tracked with GPS are eligible!
  2. All activities must be recorded via Strava and comply with Strava’s terms of service.
  3. Participants acknowledge that their full name (which was given during the registration form), ranking, and performance data may be displayed on the publicly accessible leaderboard. The Challenge leaderboard and its custom backend are developed by cheers.hu (Owner Develops Hungary), which accesses data through the official public Strava API. "Cheers Application" and Develops Hungary Legal Policies can be found here. Participants may request deletion of their data at any time by requesting exclusion from the Challenge by contacting the staff of Cheers at cheers.hu/help.
  4. Manual uploads, treadmill activities without GPS data or suspicious entries may be excluded.
  5. Any attempt to manipulate GPS data, upload fake activities or exploit tracking systems will result in immediate disqualification and will result a full ban from the challenge.
  6. The Organizer reserves the right to verify all data before confirming the winner.

III. Competition Rules

  1. The performance metric remains consistent throughout the year and will not change.
  2. Each participant is eligible to win one Galaxy Watch 8 only once in the active period of the Challenge. Previous winners remain on the leaderboard but are no longer eligible to win. If the previous winner/winners rank in the TOP 5 again, the 6th, 7th (and so on) participants will be in the raffle as well.
  3. The winner will be selected by a random raffle from the TOP 5 participants, within 5 days after the previous period, and will be contacted via RLC's WhatsApp Group.
  4. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the consistency score or by the earliest achievement of the final result.

IV. Winner Obligations, Accepting Prize, Conditions

  1. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to sign an agreement with the Organizer and undertakes not to sell, transfer or commercially resell the Galaxy Watch 8 for a period of 12 months. In the event of a breach, a penalty equal to the product's full retail value will apply. If the winner declines to sign the contract, a new winner will be selected.
  2. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to actively use the Galaxy Watch 8 for training purposes and to reasonably promote Running Latte Club (@runninglatteclub) and Samsung Hungary (@samsungmagyarorszag) through organic visibility, including tagging, mentions, or participation in related content where appropriate.
  3. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

V. Communication and Privacy

  1. By participating, participants agree that Running Latte Club and Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt. may feature their name, image, ranking, and activity highlights for communication purposes.
  2. Participants’ email addresses and other sensitive information will not be shared with third parties.

VI. Exclusions and Liability

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude:
  • Employees or contractors of the Organizer or Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt.
  • Individuals involved in organizing the Challenge.
  • Any participant violating the rules statein TOS.

VII. Right to Modify / Suspend the Challenge

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Challenge at any time due to technical issues, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances, without prior notice.
  2. In matters not regulated by this policy, the provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code shall apply. (Polgåri Törvénykönyv)

VIII. Liability Limitation (Strava, GPS, Tech)

  1. The Organizer is not responsible for:
    ‱ inaccuracies in GPS tracking or Strava data
    ‱ technical errors, delays or service interruptions
    ‱ failures of third-party platforms including Strava
  2. Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

IX. No Affiliation With Strava

  1. The Organizer and therefore The Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Strava, Inc.

X. Tax Responsibility Clarification

  1. Any tax obligations related to the prize shall be handled in accordance with applicable Hungarian laws. The Organizer will comply with all legally required reporting obligations.

XI. Language Priority Clause

  1. In case of discrepancies between language versions, the Hungarian version shall prevail.

I. Általånos feltételek

  1. A rĂ©szvĂ©tel feltĂ©tele, hogy a rĂ©sztvevƑ legalĂĄbb 30 napja tagja legyen a Running Latte Club Strava Clubnak. A rĂ©szvĂ©tel ingyenes Ă©s önkĂ©ntes.
  2. A Challenge össz. rĂ©sztvevƑi 1000 fƑben lesznek limitĂĄlva.
  3. A Challenge havi rendszeressĂ©ggel zajlik 2026 december 31-ig. Az adott havi idƑszak minden hĂłnap elsƑ napjĂĄn 00:00 CET-kor kezdƑdik Ă©s az utolsĂł nap 23:59 CET-kor zĂĄrul.
  4. A rĂ©szvĂ©tel 18. Ă©letĂ©vĂŒket betöltött termĂ©szetes szemĂ©lyek szĂĄmĂĄra nyitott, akik nyilvĂĄnos Strava fiĂłkkal rendelkeznek.
  5. A rĂ©sztvevƑk bĂĄrmikor kĂ©rhetik kizĂĄrĂĄsukat a Challenge-bƑl a SzervezƑ rĂ©szĂ©re kĂŒldött emailben a shop@runninglatteclub.com cĂ­men.
  6. A rĂ©sztvevƑk, akik bĂĄrmilyen vulgĂĄris/gyƱlöletkeltƑ nevet hasznĂĄlnak a Teljes NĂ©vhez (Full Name) a regisztrĂĄciĂł sorĂĄn, elƑzetes tĂĄjĂ©koztatĂĄs nĂ©lkĂŒl kizĂĄrhatĂłak Ă©s a tovĂĄbbiakban nem vehetnek rĂ©szt a Challenge-ben.
  7. A SzervezƑ fenntartja a jogot, hogy a Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt.-vel egyĂŒttmƱködƑ nagyköveteket vagy partnereket kizĂĄrja a nyeremĂ©nybƑl.

II. Részvétel és adatkezelés

  1. Csak GPS-szel rögzített (> 1 km-tåvnål nagyobb) szabadtéri futåsok szåmítanak bele.
  2. Minden aktivitĂĄst Strava-alkalmazĂĄson keresztĂŒl kell rögzĂ­teni, Ă©s azoknak meg kell felelniĂŒk a Strava felhasznĂĄlĂĄsi feltĂ©teleinek.
  3. A rĂ©sztvevƑk tudomĂĄsul veszik, hogy teljes nevĂŒk (amelyet a regisztrĂĄciĂł sorĂĄn adtak meg), helyezĂ©sĂŒk Ă©s teljesĂ­tmĂ©nyadataik megjelenhetnek a nyilvĂĄnosan elĂ©rhetƑ ranglistĂĄn. A kihĂ­vĂĄs ranglistĂĄjĂĄt Ă©s annak egyedi hĂĄttĂ©rrendszerĂ©t a cheers.hu (Develops Hungary) fejleszti, amely az adatokat a hivatalos nyilvĂĄnos Strava API-n keresztĂŒl Ă©ri el. A „Cheers Application” Ă©s a Develops Hungary jogi szabĂĄlyzatai itt talĂĄlhatĂłk. A rĂ©sztvevƑk bĂĄrmikor kĂ©rhetik adataik törlĂ©sĂ©t azzal, hogy a kihĂ­vĂĄsbĂłl valĂł kizĂĄrĂĄsukat kĂ©rik a Cheers munkatĂĄrsainĂĄl a cheers.hu/help oldalon A rĂ©sztvevƑk kĂ©rhetik adataik törlĂ©sĂ©t a Challenge-bƑl valĂł kilĂ©pĂ©s kezdemĂ©nyezĂ©sĂ©vel.
  4. A manuĂĄlis feltöltĂ©sek, GPS nĂ©lkĂŒli futĂłpadon vĂ©gzett edzĂ©sek vagy gyanĂșs aktivitĂĄsok kizĂĄrhatĂłk.
  5. Bårmilyen GPS manipulåció, hamis aktivitås feltöltése vagy a rendszer kijåtszåsåra tett kísérlet azonnali kizåråst és végleges tiltåst von maga utån.
  6. A SzervezƑ fenntartja a jogot az adatok ellenƑrzĂ©sĂ©re a nyertes kihirdetĂ©se elƑtt.

III. VersenyszabĂĄlyok

  1. A teljesítménymutató az év sorån nem våltozik.
  2. Minden rĂ©sztvevƑ legfeljebb egy (1) alkalommal nyerhet Galaxy Watch 8 kĂ©szĂŒlĂ©ket a Challenge aktĂ­v ideje alatt. A korĂĄbbi nyertesek a ranglistĂĄn szerepelhetnek, de tovĂĄbbi nyeremĂ©nyre nem jogosultak. Amennyiben ugyanazon szemĂ©ly / szemĂ©lyek ismĂ©t az elsƑ 5 helyen vĂ©geznek, a 6., 7. Ă©s Ă­gy tovĂĄbb helyezett is bekerĂŒl a nyertes kihirdetĂ©sĂ©be.
  3. A nyertes kihirdetĂ©se vĂ©letlenszerƱen sorsolt az elsƑ 5 rĂ©sztvevƑbƑl, az adott idƑszak lezĂĄrĂĄsĂĄt követƑ 5 napon belĂŒl törtĂ©nik, Ă©s az Ă©rtesĂ­tĂ©se az RLC WhatsApp csoportjĂĄn keresztĂŒl törtĂ©nik.
  4. Holtverseny esetĂ©n a rĂ©sztvevƑket a következetessĂ©gi pontszĂĄm vagy a vĂ©gsƑ eredmĂ©ny korĂĄbbi elĂ©rĂ©se alapjĂĄn hatĂĄrozzĂĄk meg.

IV. Nyeremény åtvétele és feltételek

  1. A nyeremĂ©ny elfogadĂĄsĂĄval a nyertes vĂĄllalja, hogy megĂĄllapodĂĄst köt a SzervezƑvel, Ă©s kötelezettsĂ©get vĂĄllal arra, hogy a megnyert Galaxy Watch 8 kĂ©szĂŒlĂ©ket a kĂ©zhezvĂ©teltƑl szĂĄmĂ­tott 12 hĂłnapig nem Ă©rtĂ©kesĂ­ti, nem ruhĂĄzza ĂĄt Ă©s nem hasznosĂ­tja kereskedelmi cĂ©lra. Ennek a megĂĄllapodĂĄsnak megszegĂ©se esetĂ©n a termĂ©k teljes kiskereskedelmi Ă©rtĂ©kĂ©nek megfelelƑ kötbĂ©r kerĂŒl kiszabĂĄsra. Amennyiben a nyertes nem Ă­rja alĂĄ a megĂĄllapodĂĄst, Ășj nyertes kerĂŒl kivĂĄlasztĂĄsra.
  2. A nyeremĂ©ny elfogadĂĄsĂĄval a nyertes vĂĄllalja, hogy a Galaxy Watch 8 kĂ©szĂŒlĂ©ket rendszeresen hasznĂĄlja edzĂ©scĂ©lokra, Ă©s Ă©szszerƱ mĂ©rtĂ©kben nĂ©pszerƱsĂ­ti a Running Latte Clubot (@runninglatteclub) Ă©s a Samsung MagyarorszĂĄgot (@samsungmagyarorszag) organikus mĂłdon, pĂ©ldĂĄul megjelölĂ©sek, emlĂ­tĂ©sek vagy kapcsolĂłdĂł tartalmakban valĂł rĂ©szvĂ©tel formĂĄjĂĄban.
  3. A nyeremény nem åtruhåzható és nem våltható készpénzre.

V. Kommunikåció és adatvédelem

  1. A rĂ©szvĂ©tellel a rĂ©sztvevƑk hozzĂĄjĂĄrulnak ahhoz, hogy a Running Latte Club Ă©s a Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt. nevĂŒket, kĂ©pmĂĄsukat, helyezĂ©sĂŒket Ă©s teljesĂ­tmĂ©nyĂŒket kommunikĂĄciĂłs cĂ©lokra felhasznĂĄlja.
  2. A rĂ©sztvevƑk email cĂ­me Ă©s egyĂ©b Ă©rzĂ©keny adatai harmadik fĂ©l rĂ©szĂ©re nem kerĂŒlnek ĂĄtadĂĄsra Ă©s nem kerĂŒlnek marketing cĂ©lĂș felhasznĂĄlĂĄsra.

VI. KizĂĄrĂĄsok Ă©s felelƑssĂ©g

  1. A SzervezƑ fenntartja a jogot az alĂĄbbi szemĂ©lyek kizĂĄrĂĄsĂĄra:
  • A SzervezƑ vagy a Samsung Electronics Magyar Zrt. alkalmazottai vagy alvĂĄllalkozĂłi
  • A Challenge szervezĂ©sĂ©ben rĂ©szt vevƑ szemĂ©lyek
  • A szabĂĄlyokat megszegƑ rĂ©sztvevƑk

VII. A Challenge mĂłdosĂ­tĂĄsĂĄnak joga

  1. A SzervezƑ fenntartja a jogot, hogy technikai problĂ©mĂĄk, vis maior vagy egyĂ©b elƑre nem lĂĄthatĂł körĂŒlmĂ©nyek esetĂ©n a Challenge-et mĂłdosĂ­tsa, felfĂŒggessze vagy megszĂŒntesse, elƑzetes Ă©rtesĂ­tĂ©s nĂ©lkĂŒl.
  2. A jelen szabĂĄlyzatban nem rendezett kĂ©rdĂ©sekben a PolgĂĄri TörvĂ©nykönyvrƑl szĂłlĂł 2013. Ă©vi V. törvĂ©ny rendelkezĂ©sei irĂĄnyadĂłk.

VIII. FelelƑssĂ©gkorlĂĄtozĂĄs

  1. A SzervezƑ nem vĂĄllal felelƑssĂ©get:
    ‱ a GPS mĂ©rĂ©si pontatlansĂĄgokĂ©rt vagy Strava adathibĂĄkĂ©rt
    ‱ technikai hibĂĄkĂ©rt, kĂ©sĂ©sekĂ©rt vagy szolgĂĄltatĂĄskimaradĂĄsokĂ©rt
    ‱ harmadik fĂ©l platformok, Ă­gy kĂŒlönösen a Strava mƱködĂ©sĂ©bƑl eredƑ problĂ©mĂĄkĂ©rt.
  2. A rĂ©szvĂ©tel sajĂĄt felelƑssĂ©gre törtĂ©nik.

IX. Kapcsolat a StravĂĄval

  1. A Challenge nem a Strava, Inc. ĂĄltal szponzorĂĄlt, tĂĄmogatott vagy ĂŒzemeltetett kezdemĂ©nyezĂ©s.

X. Adózåsi kötelezettségek

  1. A nyeremĂ©nnyel kapcsolatos adĂłkötelezettsĂ©gek a hatĂĄlyos magyar jogszabĂĄlyok szerint kerĂŒlnek rendezĂ©sre. A SzervezƑ eleget tesz minden jogszabĂĄlyban elƑírt bejelentĂ©si kötelezettsĂ©gĂ©nek.

XI. Nyelvi elsƑbbsĂ©g

  1. Eltérés esetén a magyar nyelvƱ verzió az irånyadó.
